It is my pleasure to introduce you to Continuing Education Units 411 (CEU 411). The primary goals are to provide nurses with quality contact hours, tax deductable vacations, enriched with multicultural and travel experiences.

To provide you with an idea of the available educational services, please visit the website. The next nursing seminar will be held in November, 2008 “Nursing Care of Patients with Anxiety, Panic, and Anxiety Disorders” in Paris France. Registered Nurses will receive ten (10) contact hours for their attendance of the seminar. Interested nurses may visit at www.ceu411.com for details.

That's great Yvonne. Those travel nursing memories are way to important to not document. What are your favorite sites for scrapbooking?

I do many of the activities you listed in your post. I take my photography very seriously and have sued some of my hard-earned travel nurse money to invest in a good digital camera. So when I'm done with photography, I can scrapbook about my travels. There are some great downloadable scrap booking tools and even some available online. Gotta keep hold of those great travel nurse memories, right??

Yes, what I was saying is exactly that... The slowdown in the economy was due in large part to the events of 9/11. With the "war" and unemployment and oil prices on the rise, many nurses who may have in the past taken on less shifts are now returning and asking for more work to compensate for possible lost income with their spouses and so forth. What this means to travel nurses I guess, is that there may be less of a need right now. But that may only be present in certain markets and is definitely not the situation nationwide. Hospitals may experience some relief, but staff nurses will notice that the pay is not comparable to those who decide to travel. There is still the opportunity to generate more income as a traveler, that will continue to be the trend for years to come. I hope this clears up any confusion to my post? Thanks for your reply!

I'm confused. What do "the continuing repercussions of 9/11" have to do with being a travel nurse?

Or are you saying that the current slowing of the economy is due to 9/11?

Just letting everyone know I came across a great Nurses Social Network. nurselinkup.com. Though there are several of these popping up all over, I did find this site extremely useful. Most of the articles are educational in nature. They really do cover everything from career paths, traveling and getting more out of you career. They also offer an abundance of other quality articles that are well written and researched with references. Users can also rate and comment on articles. As stated before, this is certainly one of the better social networking sites for nurses I have used. I was also pleased to see that the articles are “on site” and not just links to articles elsewhere.

I was posting this because I notice the other person above also mentioned it and I wanted to also let people know that it was excellent.
