It is easy to opt for fast food instead of cooking something healthy and spending your free time with new friends and site seeing (although you can get a lot of walking in) than taking the time to exercise. Throw in changing work schedules and new sleep cycles every 13 weeks and it is easy to see why fitness may take a back set while you are on a travel nursing assignment. I have been with Medical Solutions since June. I am newly graduated from Creighton University, and before I ended  up there I became a CNA my sophomore year of college in the state of Arizona. I worked double weekends in a nursing home and did some home healthcare. My Mom has worked her way through the nursing field and is now a psychiatric nurse practitioner and hypnotherapist at a company called Dynamic Mastery. So you can see that I have been surrounded by nursing my whole life.

Born and raised in Arizona with an older brother and two older sisters. I am a proud aunt of 1 year old twins and one of my sisters is due in November. The other passion of my life has been playing softball which was shown to me by my Dad. Started  playing when I was 7, and I just ended my career at Creighton Univeristy. Softball is how I ended up in Omaha, and has lead me to where I am today. I have now started playing slow pitch to feed my competive drive.

Epstein LaRue of Highway Hypodermics is now offering, TravelNursingAgent.com, a web service that attempts to match travel nurses with travel nursing companies using a more specialized matching application. It is based on the travel nursing benefits that you are most interested in, the type of communicator you are and some other personality points.

If you are having trouble deciding on where to start in your travel nursing job search this may be a good place to start, especially if you are just getting started on your first travel nursing assignment.
