Stressed?
Apr 16th, 2008 | By Jeff | Category: Featured Article, Travel Nurse Company, Travel Nursing Benefits, Travel Nursing Checklist, Travel Nursing Tips, Travel nursing lifeAfter a long stressful day I was thinking about ways to reprioritize and manage my own time, but eventually I started thinking about all the stress that nurses deal with each day. Which made me wonder about what are some ways that nurses can balance the stress and demands on time that comes with dealing with difficult patients and highly intense moments all day.
Travel nursing can help eliminate some of the stresses that come with a nursing career, but it won’t get rid of all of them and if you are not prepared it may even add new ones. And that really is the key, being prepared. You never know, and can’t control, what will come at you each day, but you can control how you respond. A great site that can help you prepare for dealing with your stress as a nurse is StressInNursing.com. It offers lots of great advice with everything from time management, symptoms of stress and even stress statistics. Check it out and start stopping stress before it starts.
