Work/Life Balance Affecting Women in Healthcare

Feb 27th, 2008 | By Jeff | Category: Nursing in general, Travel Nursing

A new study, Work/Life Balance Affecting Women in Healthcare - Nursing Link, is being launched that is looking at ways to improve the mental well being of women in healthcare. More specifically it is looking at the ways they manage or don’t manage their work/life balance. If you’re interested you can also take part in the survey here.

As travel nurses I would think that your ability to balance work/life is already pretty good, but it is nice to see this being addressed.

  1. I’ve been to a few of Studer’s seminars and they were fun and temporarily uplifting. But, unless management can support the nursing staff’s needs at work, it makes it quite hard for any gender nurse. It takes more than a “pep” seminar.

  2. Excellent job…..
